Sophia G. Medvedeff, 18 of Georgetown, passed away unexpectedly at home on September 28 th. Born in Russia on November 2, 2002, Sophia was the beloved daughter of Tanya E. Medvedeff of Georgetown. Sophia was a recent graduate of Georgetown High School, Class of 2021 and a longtime member of St. James Episcopal Church and Choir in Groveland. Sophia was an avid skier, biker and loved to hike, especially the mountains of New Hampshire. She enjoyed music and became an avid musician while playing the guitar, drums, the Harmonica, ukulele and the keyboards.
Along with her mother, Sophia is survived by her brother, Nicholas T. Medvedeff of Georgetown, her maternal grandparents, Nicholas and Gay Medvedeff of Bluffton, SC, her uncles, Charles Pestacchi of Philadelphia, PA and David J. Medvedeff and his wife Joanne of Hilton Head, SC as well as her cousins, Alex and Emily Medvedeff and Christopher Pestacchi. Sophia was predeceased by her aunt, Michelle Pestacchi.
Family and friends are cordially invited to Sophia’s Service on Saturday morning, October 23 rd at 10 o’clock at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 124 River Road, Topsfield.
