Timothy Rollins Obituary

Timothy “Tim” Edward Rollins, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2026, at the Kaplan House in Danvers, Massachusetts,

surrounded by his loving wife and children. Born on August 22, 1960, in Danvers, Massachusetts, Tim grew into a man defined by his humor, and love for his family. He made his home in Georgetown, Massachusetts, where he lived for 34 years.

Tim was the beloved son of the late Gail and Kenneth Rollins. He shared his life with his devoted wife, Cindy (Trefry) Rollins. He was a proud father to Katelyn Rollins Hall and her husband Brandyn, Kevin Rollins and his wife Katelyn, and Timmy Rollins. He was a loving “Bampi” to his grandchildren, Brent and Thea Hall, who brought him endless joy and pride.

Tim is also survived by his siblings, Kenny Rollins and his wife Candace, Robin Rowell and her husband Richard, Michelle Rhudick and her husband David, and Jennifer Dabrieo (predeceased) and her husband Michael. Tim also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews—lovingly known as the “cousin crew”.

Tim graduated from Danvers High School, Class of 1978, and then enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country. After his service, he worked at J.T. Berry and later spent many years as a clerk at the Chelsea Post Office.

Outside of work, Tim lived life with enthusiasm and humor. He loved golfing and had a deep appreciation for music of all genres. He cherished time with friends and family, especially gathered around a campfire, sharing stories and laughter. A true card enthusiast, he was a cribbage master and especially loved playing whist with his siblings. He never missed an episode of Jeopardy! or Wheel of Fortune, and his love for animals was evident to all who knew him.

Together with Cindy, Tim helped start Wreaths Across America in Georgetown, a reflection of his dedication to veterans. Tim will be remembered most for his sarcastic sense of humor, his endless supply of dad jokes, and his unmistakable chuckling laugh that could brighten any room. Above all, he had a profound love for his family, and the memories he created with them will be treasured forever.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, at the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. followed by his Graveside Service with U.S. Army Honors at Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown. A Celebration of Life will be held afterward at 68 Jewett Street in Georgetown, where all friends and family are welcome to attend.
