William P. ("Bill") Gianacoples

William P. Gianacoples (Bill), 80, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on September 18, 2024. Born on March 10, 1944, Bill was a long-term resident of Georgetown, MA., and well-loved by the community.

He is survived by his daughter, Wendy and spouse Michael Nossal of Walpole MA, as well as his son, Tyler and spouse Amy Gianacoples of Groveland, MA. He also leaves behind four beautiful granddaughters, Sydney and Sheridan Nossal and Bridey and Riley Gianacoples.  Furthermore, he is survived by his sisters, Susan Dennedy of Beverly, MA and Mary Amanti of Danvers MA.  He is also pre-deceased by his brothers, Harry Janice of Peabody, MA and Andrew Janice of Tewksbury, MA. Additionally, he is mourned by his long-term partner, Lynne Hamilton, of Georgetown, MA.

Bill proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, in his earlier years. He had a long-term career as a union plumber. In his later years enjoyed his position as the Town Plumbing Inspector of Georgetown, MA. Bill loved antique cars, fishing, hunting, and his family among all else. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to Bill's visitation on Saturday, September 21st from 10am to 12 noon in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
